How to use this template:
New to WordPress? We got you. Follow this step-by-step guide to getting set up and using your new template on your own website!
How to install your template:
Using your new template page is easy! All you need to do is import and customise it to your liking.
In this section we show you how to install and edit your page.
Import your template:
In the menu on the left-hand side of your screen, scroll down until you find Templates and click on it.
Your screen will change to the one pictured above.
Click on the button “Import Templates” in the white bar at the top of the screen.
Then click on “Choose File”.
Navigate to the folder where you downloaded and extracted the template file, then select it.
WordPress will import your file.
Edit the Page:
Now that your template is imported, you’re going to want to insert it into a page to edit it with Elementor.
In the Left-hand menu, find and click on the “pages” tab.
Then click on the “Add New” button located at the top of the screen next to the heading “PAGES” as pictured below.

In the box pictured below, click on the file icon.
A Library pop-up opens.
Select the “My Templates” Tab on the right.
Select the template page and click on the “Insert” button on the right side, as pictured below.
The template is now installed!
You can now go ahead and edit colours, add images, videos and your own copy by selecting the item you want to edit and using the Elementor builder on the right hand side.
Once you are happy with the page. Click on the green “Publish” button.
Your page will be published and pushed live to your website!
FAQs
Do I need an Elementor subscription?
- You do not need an Elementor subscription in order to edit and set up your speaker site. A subscription does offer more advanced elements to add to your site but is not required.
What is required to get started?
- You will need a domain name
- WordPress installed on your domain
- Elementor (free) plugin installed
- Happy Addons plugin installed
- Download and install one of the provided templates
How do I publish my site?
- Navigate to the pages tab in the WordPress dashboard
- Open the page you wish to publish
- Select Publish on the right hand side menu
- Your page has been published
How do I change the URL of a page?
- Navigate to the pages tab in the WordPress dashboard
- Open the page you wish to change
- Select the URL under the page name
- Edit the URL and press either ‘save as draft’, publish or update
