Being a leader is hard! We have to feel like we are one step ahead of the people that report to us. and sometimes this stepping ahead can create a very wide gap. It doesn’t have to though, it turns out that you can narrow that gap by bringing your people CLOSER TO YOU.

Let me explain. I started my company Missing Link when I was 22 years old, I had no idea what I was doing, but my team needed me to have the answers to the businesses problems ( I’m 48now, and I still feel like I know only a tiny fraction, but that’s a post for another day). So what did I do? I read every business book that I could get my hands on. I probably read too much.

This is a problem that we as leaders face all too much, we consume knowledge at a faster rate than we can share (I did a TEDx talk on this) or even action.

I wanted to fix that, so I started buying copies of the books for my team, I wanted them to have the chance to read them too, in truth though I’ve found that people don’t read books that they didn’t buy – it feels like work to them. Oh and I get that this doesn’t count for novels and biographies you get for your birthday – don’t @ me 🙂

Of late I started sharing video summaries with them, and while they are often great, they just lack the framing and context of OUR business problems.

So I decided to share the ideas myself, as short little 10-minute talks that would catalyze meaningful conversations. It worked! SUPER well.

So much so that we want to share these decks with you so that you can present them to your team. We have even recorded a coaching video for you so that you look great when you do. Oh, and we created the decks using PowerPoint’s new Cameo feature, so you can do it online too. Winning.

The best bit is that it is 100% free.

So if you are a leader that likes sharing what you learn then we want to help you learn while you share. Just sign-up to my newsletter below and you will be the first to know as soon as we hit launch in a few weeks.
